The most recent case involved Haverstraw resident Jordy Flores, 19, who was taken into custody after a vehicle and traffic stop revealed he was wanted on a criminal mischief charge on an active bench warrant out of Haverstraw Oct. 14, according to police.
Flores was also found to be in possession of 4.2 grams of marijuana, police said.
Along with the criminal mischief charge, the suspect has been charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, according to police.
After processing, he was issued an appearance ticket returnable Nov. 14, then turned over to the Haverstraw Town Police Department to answer the charge on the bench warrant, police said.
Another recent arrest involved Garnerville resident Alexis Perez, a 23-year-old woman who was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after an investigation Oct. 11, according to police.
The defendant was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable Dec. 15, police said.
Stony Point resident Nikolas Rodriguez, 18, has also been charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, after a vehicle and traffic stop revealed he was in possession of a quantity of the drug Sept. 30, according to police.
