Five Vying For Three Seats On Nyack School Board

NYACK, N.Y. -- There will be contested school board elections in Nyack this year.

Voters will head to the polls on May 16 to choose among five people running for three seats.

Incumbents Leann Irvin, running for a third term, Jennifer Marraccino running for a second term and James Marshall, running for a third term, are being challenged by newcomers Beth Davidson and Michael Lockett.

An $83 million budget, which has a 2.09 percent tax increase, is also on the ballot.
