Rockland Student Land Use Program Gets Funding Boost

NEW CITY, N.Y. -- Keep Rockland Beautiful recently received a $3,500 grant from People's United Community Foundation‬ in support of Rockland P.L.U.S‬. (Planning Land Use with Students).

This contribution will help provide hundreds of students throughout the county with an exciting educational experience that engages them in learning about pathways to building inclusive, economically vibrant, resource efficient, sustainable communities, according to a release from Keep Rockland Beautiful.

KRB officials added they were pleased to partner with People’s United Community Foundation in fulfilling its mission of enhancing the quality of life and well-being of all residents in Rockland.

Keep Rockland Beautiful is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to helping Rockland County residents, businesses and officials prevent litter and preserve natural beauty.
