Clarkstown Ski Team Competes At State Level

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Jake Galgano (Clarkstown South High School), Martyna Czarnik (Clarkstown North High School), Henry Fredricks (Clarkstown South),and Nicholas Czarnik (Felix Festa Middle School) of the Clarkstown Central School District in New City competed in giant slalom and slalom races at the Section 1 Alpine Regional Championships at Hunter Mountain.

Martyna received a gold medal in the slalom, a silver in giant slalom and Nick received a bronze in slalom, making them eligible to compete at the state level in Lake Placid later this month.

Their coach is Peter Drames for a great season.
