WEST NYACK, N.Y. - The Clarkstown South High baseball team was sitting at 9-7 with sectional playoffs set to start.

Vikings coach Mike Amendola said his team has been playing good baseball, and is looking for a strong surge as the team heads toward the regular-season finish.
