First County Bank Employees In Stamford Gather School Supplies STAMFORD, Conn. -- First County Bank employees in Stamford participated in the Human Services Council’s Donate a Backpack for Family Day program to provide students with backpacks and school supplies for the 2016-17 school year.  First County Bank employees donated pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, calculators, highlighters, erasers, notebooks, folders and 88 backpacks with a total of $2,760 in school supplies, which were distributed by the Human Services Council as part of its Family Day celebration.

Wilton Library Throws Open Doors For Awesome Autumn Book Sale WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Library is hosting a book sale this weekend featuring books for all ages arranged in nearly 50 categories. The "Awesome Autumn" Book Sale will take place on Sept. 23, 24, and 25. There will be items available for teens in the Brubeck Room, a full book cellar for adults and other available items.
