ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Motorists should be prepared for detours and traffic back-ups when repair construction on Route 304 begins on Tuesday, May 30, forcing the closure of the right lane.

The construction, which begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday and runs through 4 p.m. Friday, June 9, will close the right lane of Route 304 northbound between Bardonia Road/Ludvigh Road and Germonds Road.

Drivers are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
