The closure will take place between Exit 18 (Route 6) and Exit 13 (Route 202), beginning Monday, Nov. 6, until Friday, Nov. 10, from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.

The closures will affect motorists in the towns of Haverstraw and Stony Point in Rockland County, and the Town of Highlands in Orange County, state Department of Transportation officials said.

Motorists should follow the signed detours, and anticipate delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
