Rockland Business Women's Network Honors 2, Grants 3 Scholarships

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Rockland Business Women's Network recognized two area business women and awarded scholarships to three students at the annual Women in Achievement Breakfast.

Ann Mendelsohn Byne, founder and principal of The Byne Group, and Diane Coupé Frankel, founder and artistic director of the Coupé Theatre Studio and Rockland Youth Dance Ensemble received the Women of Achievement Award.

Jill Warner, chief executive officer of Jawonio presented Rockland Community College student Sidra Ijaz with the RBWN scholarship. High school seniors Bridget Owens and Cyan Deveaux also received $1,000 scholarships.

The Women of Achievement Breakfast was held at the Crowne Plaza in Suffern on Wednesday, June 15.
