Former Met, Yankee Speak At New City Fundraiser

NEW CITY, N.Y. – Rockland Independent Living Center (RILC) hosted a baseball-themed fundraiser at Austin's Ale House in New City on Monday, May 23.

The list of guests included former Met Ed Kranepool, former Yankee Jim Leyritz and local author David Ferry, along with Rockland County Executive Ed Day, Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann and Town Councilman Frank Borelli among others.

World Series winners Kranepool and Leyritz answered questions from the audience, and four copies of Ferry's 'Total Mets' were signed and raised several hundred dollars for RILC.
