Rockland County Radio Club Postponed Until Next Saturday

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Rockland County Radio Control Club model aviation show at the Pascack Community Center has been re-scheduled.

The show, which is being sponsored by the Town of Clarkstown Parks Board and Recreation Commission, was scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23 and has been re-scheduled to Saturday, Jan. 30, from 12:30-4:30 p.m.

The show will provide an activity-filled afternoon for the whole family, where participants will do the following:

  • Learn the dos and don’ts of Drone ownership from RCRCC members.
  • Build Balsa Wood planes and Penny Flyers that they get to fly.
  • Watch expert R/C pilots perform aerobatic maneuvers.
  • Watch Drone and Foam Aircraft demos throughout the day.
  • See model airplanes, helicopters and Multi-Rotor aircraft on display.
  • Test their skills on an actual radio controlled aircraft simulator.
