Variety Of Events Coming Up In Rockland

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Residents of Rockland County can take advantage of a host of event across the area that include everything from a community-wide shredding event to an art walk and exhibition.

Residents will have a variety of events to choose from during March and April including the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce Health Fair on April 19 at the Pascack Community Center.

Here's the lineup:

  • The Rockland Business Women’s Network, in conjunction with Lauren Murray Law Offices, will sponsor a community-wide shredding and networking event on March 9 from 8-11 a.m., at the RCC Business Innovation Mall, 37 W. Broad St., Haverstraw. The event will include speakers and a discussion panel. Admission is $20. Registration is available at www.rbwn.org or by phone by calling 845-414-6476. 
  • The Nanuet Chamber of Commerce will host its Second annual Art Walk and Exhibition reception featuring art from students K-12 in the Nanuet Schools from March 18 to April 1 at shops and restaurants throughout Nanuet.   • New City Chiropractic Center will hold Keep Rockland Beautiful Clean Up Team on Sunday, April 10. The group will meet at 490 Route 304, Office of New City Chiropractic Center. In honor of the 30th anniversary in Rockland, the organization is working to put together the largest team in Rockland and clean up an area of New City.   • Rockland Business Women’s Network will hold "Public Speaking: How to Deliver a Dynamic Message that Generates Business" from noon to 2 p.m. April 13 at the Hilton Double Tree, Nanuet.   • Nanuet Chamber of Commerce will host its 3rd annual Nanuet Health Fair from 6 to 9 p.m. April 19, at the Pascack Community Center, 87 New Clarkstown Road, Nanuet. Admission is free.
