Frank Talk: Old-fashioned Jewish delis are a dying breed, but this eatery, in the heart of Rockland, is still happily dishing out the stuffed derma, hot pastrami and homemade knishes to the hungry masses. It is supervised by a rabbi and its kosher hot dogs, as well as its friendly, joke-cracking staff, promise “That Olde New York Flavor.”

Top This: The soft and chewy dogs, which are cooked on rollers, come topped with sauerkraut, onions, potato salad, coleslaw, or chili. Free sour and half-sour pickles add a little snap.
