Day met with officials from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to make the agreement. It marks the first time the SBA has entered into such an alliance with any county government in New York State.

It will ease the accessibility of local small businesses to both federal and local free economic development programs, services and trainings.

"Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy. We are excited to partner with the SBA to provide the resources that many of our small business owners seek, allowing them to thrive," Day said.
