The crash, which occurred just before 9 a.m., was between the Tappan Zee Bridge Tarrytown tolls and the TZB span, with backups on I-287 stretching back to White Plains, creating a Friday traffic nightmare.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured, state police said.

The Friday the 13th morning rollover accident delayed thousands of motorists during the five hours the northbound lanes of the bridge were closed.

It also forced a Piermont woman to give birth and delayed a former president's from arriving at a campaign rally.
