Goshen Farm Owner Indicted On Animal Cruelty Charges

GOSHEN, N.Y. – The owner of a Goshen farm was indicted on 10 counts of animal cruelty by a grand jury on Tuesday, according to the Times Herald-Record.

Jeanne Ryan, 51, was arrested after SPCA investigators found nine dead horses and a 10th that was near death from starvation. On top of the animal cruelty charges, Ryan is also facing 10 misdemeanor counts of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals, the Record reported. 

Ryan is free pending arraignment, the Record said.
