State officials are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a Hudson Valley teenager who has been missing for more than three months.

The New York State Department of Public Safety issued an alert regarding Keener Mendez-Esteban, 15, who was last seen on Oct. 28 last year in Kingston, wearing black pants and a black coat.

Officials said that Mendez-Esteban is fluent in Spanish and may travel to Columbia County or out of state to North Carolina or California.

Anyone with information on Mendez-Esteban’s whereabouts, or who may spot him have been asked to contact investigators at the Kingston Police Department by calling (845) 331-1671 or emailing missingpersons@jcjs.ny.gov.
