Train Strikes Car In Congers

CONGERS, N.Y. -- An unoccupied car was struck by a cargo train early Thursday evening in Congers.

There were no injuries reported in the incident, which occurred at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Road and Burnside Avenue.

The road and railway is closed as others investigate the incident.
