Westchester Medical Center announced an expansion of its cardiac services to Bon Secours Charity Health System at 257 Lafayette Avenue in Suffern. The Heart Failure program will be the only one of its kind in Rockland and Orange.

Physicians will work with referring doctors to optimize the care of patients with advanced heart failure and, when needed, rapidly evaluate them for life-saving therapies such as mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. The partnership will allow patients to receive consultations and follow-up close to home.

Patient appointments are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact 845-368-8803.
