Neptune will be honoring one of its own on Wednesday, Aug. 5. Funeral services are being held for Neptune Township EMS Chief Bil Rosen, who died while on duty on Monday, Aug. 3. He was 59 years old. Due to the funeral, Jumping Brook Rd will be closed between Route 33 and West Jumping Brook Rd between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and West Bangs Ave will be closed between West Lake Ave and Louisville Ave between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Officers will be present at the road closures to allow residents living in the area to access their homes, police said.
