NORTH ROCKLAND, N.Y, -- Jane Adelaide Foley Drescher, 95, formerly of North Rockland, died July 30 at home in Monrovia, Calif.
She was born, raised and lived in the Rockland County area until moving to California in the 1970s. She earned her degree from Ladycliff College, formerly in Highland Falls.
She taught high school algebra at North Rockland High School until her retirement prior to moving West.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Kate and Logan.
She was predeceased by her husband, former New York Yankees catcher William C. Drescher; and son, William T. Drescher.
Graveside service and burial will take place at 11 a.m. Oct. 29 at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Route 9W, Haverstraw.
