CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Clarkstown police received a surprise gift from the Redeeming Love Christian Center last week.

The center dropped off two baskets of holiday desserts for the department in gratitude for the department's service to the community.

"We are very appreciative of the desserts and we wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Many thanks for this kind and thoughtful gift," the department said on its Facebook page.
