Clarkstown Police Seek Public's Help In Search For Wanted Man

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- A Congers man is being sought by authorities on third-degree assault charges, according to Clarkstown police.

Jeffrey Hankenhof, 55, is 5 feet 8 inches tall, and has brown hair and blue eyes, police say.

Police are advising anyone who spots Hankenhof not to take action themselves, but to alert authorities by calling the Clarkstown Detective Bureau at 845-639-5840 or by calling the TIPS line at 877-639-6233.
