An employee at Bon Secours Community Hospital was charged with sexually assaulting a psychiatric patient on Tuesday, according to Port Jervis Police.
The arrest is the result of an investigation into a report that a resident receiving in-patient care at the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit was sexually assaulted by Nathan Oglesby, 56, a Mental Health Technician at the facility, authorities said.
Oglesby, a Middletown resident, was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. Future court dates are pending a Grand Jury evaluation, police said.
Oglesby was immediately suspended by the hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Kevin Reilly at 845-858-4003.
New York State Police, Orange County Department of Mental Health and Social Services, and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office are assisting with the investigation.
