POMONA, N.Y. -- Law enforcement entities will come together for a day of entertainment for children undergoing serious medical treatments on Monday, July 11.
Law Enforcement Day will feature barbecue, entertainment, water slides, bounce houses, a portable arcade center and more from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will also display equipment such as the county helicopter, the mounted unit, police cars and more. Several K9 officers will also be in attendance.
The New York Police Department will provide buses to transport children and their families to the event. The NYPD, the New York State Police and the Sheriff’s Office, along with the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police and the Orangetown, Clarkstown, Haverstraw and Ramapo Police will provide a police escort.
Law Enforcement Day will take place at the Kruckers Camp Grounds at 113 Call Hollow Road.
