NYACK, N.Y. -- A local man wanted by police in New Jersey was arrested in Nyack last week and is now facing numerous charges, Orangetown police said.
Max Tassy, 26, was spotted by an Orangetown officer in a parking lot in the village last Friday.
Tassy was wanted on a warrant from the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Court in Bergen County, police said.
The warrant accused Tassy of impersonation, theft of identity, use of personal identifying information of another, falsifying or tampering with records, and hindering prosecution.
When Tassy was arrested in Nyack, police said he had a small amount of marijuana on him.
Because of that, he was charged with possession of 50 grams or less of marijuana and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, police said.
Tassy was arraigned in Village of Nyack Court and sent to Rockland County Jail, police said.
