Parolee Charged With Selling Crack, Heroin In Orange

PORT JERVIS, N.Y. – A Port Jervis man is accused of selling crack and heroin after an undercover investigation prompted the search of his North Street home on Friday, authorities said.

Paul Ayala (a.k.a “Mike Mike Ovo”), 25, being held in the Port Jervis Police City Lock-Up facility after authorities executed a search warrant on his home. Authorities recovered an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine during the search, Port Jervis Police said. 

Ayala was charged with two counts criminal sale of a controlled substance, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell,  fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and violation of New York State Parole. 

Ayala had been released from prison and placed on parole in Sept. 2016 after being convicted of first-degree robbery.
