Police Seek Rockland Shoplifting Suspect

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted for shoplifting.

Joan Rowe, 24, has been charged with petty larceny, police said.

Rowe was arrested after security personnel at a local Walmart accused her of taking clothing and other merchandise without paying for it, police said.

Rowe was described by police as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 135 pounds. She has red hair and blue eyes, police said.

Anyone with any information about Rowe’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 845-357-2400.
