Rockland Woman Threatens Man With Knife, Police Say

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A Pearl River woman was arrested on several charges after allegedly threatening a man with a knife Saturday afternoon, according to Orangetown police.

Officers responded to a possible dispute at a Pearl River residence at 12:39 p.m., when it is alleged that Sony Antony, 28, was involved in an argument with a male and displayed a knife, making threats toward him, police said.

Upon arriving, police arrested Antony, took her to headquarters and processed her, they said.

She was charged with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation, according to police.

Antony was arraigned and released, said police. 

She is due back in Orangetown Justice Court on Monday, Nov. 14.
