WEST NYACK, N.Y. -- The Assets Leadership Team at Clarkstown South High School in West Nyack, under advisor Susan Solar, participated in the Purple Pumpkin Project to support epilepsy.
Students sold paper purple pumpkins for $1 and created a bulletin board to show support and promote Epilepsy education and awareness of this debilitating disease.
All money raised was donated to the Epilepsy-Free Association for the Timothy Devisser Scholarship Fund.
The purpose of Epilepsy Free is to support people with epilepsy and seizure disorders (including psychogenic non-epileptic seizures) and help them achieve a life with freedom from the limitations that epilepsy and seizures might bring.
