CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Schools in the Clarkstown Central School District have been selected to test the second stage of Good Expedition, a virtual reality platform built for the classroom.
The testing, which was announced recently by the school district's Tech Committee Representative David Gosman, will allow teachers to utilize 3-D glasses along with a cell phone app to "take their classes on virtual journeys around the world," according to the district.
The new techonology will be demonstrated at the Clarkstown Central School District Technology Showcase from 5:45-7:45 p.m. on April 19 at Felix V. Festa Middle School, 30 Parrott Rd. West Nyack.
A Board of Education meeting will follow at 8 p.m.
