Dedication, Camaraderie Keep North Rockland High Marching Band In Tune

THIELLS, N.Y. - It takes commitment and dedication to be a part of the hard-working North Rockland High marching band.

Daily Voice talks to band leader Jennifer Bankey and Drum Major Sal Castronovo (who conducts during competitions and football games) about the group, what its like to be a marching band member, and the time these students put into their passion.

But the payoff can be great, as Drum Major Sal Castronovo told Daily Voice: "It's one of the best feelings you can have" to be a part of a group like this.

The Red Raider Marching band is a constant presence at home sporting events - as well as at regional competitions and community events - keeping the crowd pumped and the atmosphere alive for the home fans.
