Section 1 Champion Albertus Magnus High Girls Soccer Team Hungry To Repeat

BARDONIA, N.Y. - Last year's Albertus Magnus High girls soccer team brought home the school's first Section 1 title in 10 years, winning Class B, before falling in the NYS regional semifinals.

The Falcons, who closed the curtain with an 18-3-1 record, welcome new coach Dan Samimi this fall.

Samimi takes the reigns for Tim Gavin, who coached the team four years, and has now taken over as the school's Athletic Director.

The Falcons open the 2016 season September 10 at Our Lady of Lourdes.
