Public Hearing Scheduled In Bethel On Power Line Proposal BETHEL, Conn. -- The Connecticut Siting Council will conduct a public hearing in Bethel on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., on a proposal for a new power line. They will hear comments from the public on a plan by Eversource Energy to place a second power line next to the existing high-tension line that runs from Brookfield to Bethel through the Stony Hill neighborhood.  Both hearings will take place in the General Purpose room at Bethel Town Hall, at 1 School St.
