Pomona Man Charged In Stony Point Burglary STONY POINT, N.Y. -- Police on Friday have arrested George P. Green, 46, of Pomona on charges of second-degree burglary, stolen property and grand larceny. Green is suspected in a residential burglary on Jan. 1.  Green was arrested with the assistance of the Town of Haverstraw Police and the Rockland County Intelligence Center after a brief foot pursuit.  The Stony Point Police were also assisted in the investigation by the Rockland County Sheriff’s B.C.I.Unit. Stony Point Police Charge Man, 29, With Heroin Possession STONY POINT, N.Y. -- Stony Point Police Department on Monday arrested Broc Donnison, 29, of New Berlin, N.Y., for criminal possession of a controlled substance. The defendant was arrested following a vehicle and traffic stop. He was in possession of 13 envelopes of heroin. He was also found in possession of several hypodermic needles and suboxone.  The defendant was arrested, processed and released. He is due in court on Feb. 16th at 1:30 pm.

Ramapo Police Seeking Clues To Anti-Semitic Letter RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Town of Ramapo Police Department is investigating incidents in which an unknown subject faxed an anti-Semitic letter to Ramapo Town Hall as well as to the Town of Ramapo Police Department.  The letter was faxed to the Ramapo Town Hall on Nov. 30.  The same letter was then faxed to the Ramapo Police Department on Dec. 20.

Ramapo Police Still Looking For Taxi Cab Robber RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Police are searching a suspected assailant who assaulted and robbed a taxi cab driver Monday around 9:08 p.m. after the suspect flagged him down on Route 45 near Rennslear Drive in Hillcrest. The taxi driver told police he had been robbed. According to the victim, he had picked up suspect in front of the Bravo Supermarket in Hillcrest Plaza. When the taxi reached Rennsalear Drive the suspect grabbed the driver from behind and demanded cash. Suspect also repeatedly punched the driver and sprayed a substance into the driver’s eyes. Police Seek Clues On Bullet Holes In Car, House, Attempted Ramapo Break-In RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police on Sunday evening around 8:50 p.m. responded to reports of gun shots heard on Hempstead Road in Hillcrest.  Officers found an unoccupied vehicle parked on Hempstead Road with several large caliber bullet holes. Additionally, a single bullet entered a residence on Hempstead Road, through a window, and lodged in a stone fireplace.
