Local Man Nabbed After Firing Shots At Cumberland Farms In Shelton, Police Say A man was busted for allegedly firing shots at a convenience store in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Shelton around 10:15 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Cumberland Farms on River Road. When Shelton Police arrived they discovered a broken window and recovered a spent shell casing in the parking lot, said Detective Christopher Nugent of the Shelton Police.
