Gas-Fed Fire Kitchen Fire Displaces Fairfield County Family Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a kitchen fire at a two-family residence in Fairfield County. The fire started around 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 15, at the home located at 9 Cottage Street in Danbury. Fire and police units were immediately dispatched.
