1 Injured After Car Slams Into Pole At Northern Westchester Intersection A person was injured after their vehicle was severely damaged in a Northern Westchester crash. The incident happened on Friday, May 3 just before 10 p.m., when a car struck a telephone pole at the intersection of Bayberry Lane and South Bedford Road (Route 172) in Bedford, the Bedford Fire Department said on Sunday, May 5. Arriving fire crews soon found a single car on the road with heavy damage.
