Police: Man Shot In Head Inside Stamford Convenience Store STAMFORD, Conn. — A man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was shot in the head in the West Main Convenience store in Stamford shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, police told the Stamford Advocate.The victim, who was 19 or 20 years old, was a customer in the store, the Advocate said. A 5-foot-7 black male was seen fleeing while carrying a small-caliber gun, the Advocate said.
