Rockland Bike Thief Nabbed Thanks To Help From Community Patrol MONSEY, N.Y. - A 17-year-old Spring Valley resident was arrested for allegedly stealing bicycles in Monsey on Sunday with the help of a community patrol, police said. The male suspect was arrested around 3 p.m. and charged with four counts of petit larceny. He allegedly stole four bicycles from a backyard in the area of West Central Avenue and North Gate.  The arrest was made with the assistance of the Chaverim Volunteer Community Patrol.
